This policy explains what information Momus collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. Momus is made by Box Attack Studios L.L.C. ("we" or "us").
The short version
- There are no accounts, and we don't ask for your real name, email, or phone number.
- Most of Momus runs entirely on your device.
- Multiplayer rooms keep player nicknames and game moves on our server only while the room is active.
- Momus has no analytics and no ads. If that changes, we'll update this policy before the change ships.
Information stored on your device
Your settings and game setup (such as player names you type and your sound and penalty preferences) are saved on your device. They stay there until you clear them or uninstall the app.
Multiplayer rooms
When you create or join a room, your chosen nickname and your in-game actions are sent to our game server so everyone in the room can play. Room data is held in memory only while the room is active and is discarded when the room ends or expires. It isn't saved to a database.
Server logs and service providers
Our servers keep short, automatically rotated technical logs (such as request type, status, size, and timing) to keep multiplayer working. Traffic passes through Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses to deliver and protect the service under its own privacy policy: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/
Age
Momus is rated 17+ because some games include optional drinking penalties, and it isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have, email [email protected].
Your rights
Because Momus doesn't collect personal information beyond what's described above, there's usually nothing for us to access or delete. You can still email [email protected] with any request or question.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the effective date at the top.
